Ooty | Arrival & Scenic Hill Drive
Upon arrival at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station, proceed towards Ooty, popularly known as the “Queen of Hill Stations,” famous for its pleasant climate and scenic beauty. Enjoy a picturesque drive through the Nilgiri Hills, passing through winding mountain roads with hairpin bends, lush forest landscapes, and beautiful tea plantations. Upon arrival in Ooty, check in to the hotel and relax. The evening is free for leisure, where you may explore the local market or enjoy the cool hill station atmosphere. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Ooty | Lakes, Gardens & Peaks
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Ooty. Begin with a visit to Ooty Lake, where you can enjoy boating amidst scenic surroundings. Continue to the famous Botanical Garden, known for its rare plants, vibrant flowers, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Later visit the Rose Garden, one of India’s largest rose gardens featuring thousands of rose varieties. Proceed to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Hills offering breathtaking panoramic views. You will also visit a Tea Factory and Chocolate Factory to experience tea processing and taste locally made chocolates. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Ooty.
Coonoor | Tea Estates & Valley Views
After breakfast, proceed for a scenic excursion to Coonoor, a charming hill town near Ooty known for its lush tea estates and beautiful viewpoints. Visit Sim’s Park, a well-maintained botanical garden with a wide variety of plants and trees. Continue to Dolphin’s Nose, a famous viewpoint offering spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and waterfalls. Later visit Lamb’s Rock, another scenic viewpoint overlooking tea plantations and deep valleys. Enjoy the picturesque Tea Gardens, perfect for photography and nature walks. You may also experience the famous Toy Train Ride from Ooty to Coonoor (subject to availability). Return to Ooty for an overnight stay.
Departure | Coimbatore Drop
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Coimbatore. Enjoy the scenic drive down the Nilgiri hills before reaching the city. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying pleasant memories of your Ooty holiday.
